Valorie is turning 15! That is a BIG birthday~fiesta de quince anos! To celebrate Valorie’s mom planned a portrait session for Valorie. She looks just beautiful! The BEST part about photography is that it is like an adventure….you never know where it might take you! When Alex’s mom asked me to do her pictures with her horse at Shade Lawn Ranch, I was soo excited!!! I absolutely LOVE going to new places!!! Alex’s is a barrel racer ~ so it only makes sense to have her senior pictures taken with her love~a horse named, Magic~ I LOVE this shoot….everything about it!!! The clothes, the setting (which looks like an enchanted forest), and most of all Alex’s beautiful blue eyes!!! You can just tell Alex and her horse have a loving connection. We had a few little hiccups with Magic ~ He does not like dogs that bark….or leaves rustling above his head….this we know. He adores Alex’s calm, loving nature as it show’s in these images. Magic’s friends were not very happy to know that Magic was on an adventure without them….. After finishing up we Magic, we explored the AWESOME buildings on the ranch~ I could have spent the whole day there! Such a playground for photography. Read more!

I am super excited to share the experience of photographing Lisa Short of Body Potential Fitness . Lisa is a personal trainer who focus on health an wellness. Lisa is so genuine and really has your best interest at heart! This is why I am ACTUALLY working out with her two days a week. Exercise happens to be very low on my list of things to do ~ I really needed someone to hold me accountable for showing up, THANK YOU LISA! Jogging…..for me is out of the question…. I love the fact that Lisa provides a customized work out just for me & my husband in a private intimate setting. We truly enjoy seeing her! Lisa’s session started in her in her gym where she trains her clients. Isn’t she just beautiful?!!! Next we headed to my studio to get a different look~ We couldn’t leave Phil, Lisa’s husband out. It is only appropriate that the first post on the new blog is to announce some super exciting news…..we have moved the studio~ to 309 East Main Street Turlock Ca~ Lots of work went into changing the ceiling and layout of the office that has sat empty for years! Thank you to Barrett Construction. They did a great job on a really short timeline!!! Thank you to my friend Dave Royalty for getting us started and assisting with the floor installation…..so sorry I broke your back and made you work so hard. It would not have happened without you and your hardwork. I could not have done this with out Craig and Calvin~ they busted their butts to finish the floors and move all of my props, computers , and all of the other stuff!!! They have also been soo busy making special custom furniture pieces that are sooo beautiful I will hate to see them sell. My Dad and Mom came from Arizona for a week and worked on the beautiful barn door …. it is perfect… even if it has extra screws in it. Ha..Ha.. FINALLY…they are ENGAGED! MaryBeth and Eric have been together forever….it seems. I feel soo honored to have been asked to capture their wedding day!
